| About: | One of the few places to specialize in Ramen dishes, this tiny spot in Japantown is worth seeking out. The few tables are usually filled by locals and Japanese ex-pats who crave the authentic house-made noodles either pan-fried with tasty seafood or served in a rich and flavorful broth. It is even better when washed down with the Japanese beer that's available. Dark wood paneling and traditional decor gives the place a rural Japanese ambiance. The gracious and efficient service is also traditional. |

User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsHot Ramen on a Cold Day: this place rocks. upstairs in japantown (right up the pedestrian walkway from the pagoda). huge, hot bowls of ramen, people! of a foggy san francisco day, this is the perfect retreat. :) it's also just down from a cool hardware store with lots of japanese tools and stuff. one of my favorite hidden gems.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsAwesome Ramen in San Francisco Japan Town: I have been going to Iroha for 20 years (yes, since I was a kid). The food has been great everytime. The Ramen and Yakitori are my favorite items. I always plan a stop for lunch or dinner everytime I am back in San Francisco.

One of those out of the way places...: on a second story in the heart of Japantown. really a cool place and i guarantee your friends have never been there. park and walk through the mall.
