dr lommer, Queen melinda , with 10 minute 110$ appts whose sin of hubris, failure to listen caused the demise of my magnificent brown standard poodle MOJO strongin - she even did an unauthorized surgery because of WHY?????? i was home that whole day waiting and calling madera pet hospital - after a first surgery i asked about antibiotics and she said they were not necessary, i asked for help because after i awfully, foolishly allowed her to remove MOJO's upper left jaw, he wouldn't eat - her response "try cat food" (after the second unauthorized revision surgery and pulling of all his lower teeth a tech showed me how to feed him a special food, A/D high in water and nutrition and put it in the other side pouch of his mouth) at the very end when MOJO collapsed on the floor she said to leave him alone - that he was just tired from 2 major surgeries - when we got to the ER the dr did tests and said that MOJO was critical - septic and arryithmic - i asked what do we do? she said that treatment would be very hard on him and that she did not think he would make it, and the kindest thing to do would be to let him go - and so my best friend for 10yrs 8 mos went on a gurney in an ER and even after all that the queen chewed out the ER dr saying what a shame it was that I wanted to euthanize my MOJO when she had worked so hard on him, she left a paper trail that i wanted him euthanized , she is a bold face liar and coward - the fault was mine, i trusted my vet dr aj kallet, he trusted her - if you are going to advise and do big surgery then you have a total responsibility to follow thru with good care - even though she knew that we were on the way to the ER she was unavailable when the ER dr called her - pick up your beloved creatures and RUN don't walk away from her
