| About: | Away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area, this cozy and casual Richmond District favorite is a good place for a dinner date. Reservations are recommended, however, as the intimate booths by the brick fireplace in the back go fast. Several delicious steak and fresh fish dishes come smoking off the grill, but even vegetarians will not walk away hungry, as the menu features non-meat entrees as well. Extremely friendly staff: They really went out of their way to serve us. The food was good, but not on par with Clementine's.
Delicious food, very friendly service: We had a lovely dinner there and had a great rapport with the owner and server. Each of our dinners were well balanced by flavors, quantity, and vegetables, soup, etc. My senior mother was able to hear our conversation, as the room is not too noisy.
They have many regulars, I can see why.
Maybe I'll go again.: The dinner was pretty good, but it took a long time to get our food. I would not say it is a great place for kids. It is more for adult dinning. The kids tend to ge bored. It is not really bright in there. When the food did arrive, it was ok, kind of average. It did taste for. The price is about $7-$12 a plate depending on what you order. It was not the best dinner I have had, but it was not the worst dinner I have had. I might go there again.
