About:This restaurant in the heart of the Castro serves some of the freshest seafood away from Fisherman's Wharf. The service and decor of the restaurant are simple.     One of the best for shellfish: if you love your shellfish, you'll love the anchor. i've been to tons of seafood joints but this place is always good always fresh and the prices are pretty reasonable as opposed to seafood places along the wharf. anchor rocks.

    fresh seafood, neighborhood favorite: it's the perfect neighborhood restaurant. the daily specials are always delicious. the wait is worth it!
