User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsoverpriced overrated too crowded with slumming afterwork happy hour crowd, whaaddda bore whaaaadda drag and for apps this bad, they are way too expensive for whatcha get....oh and becuz they cater to the slumming margarita crowd everything is too salty...FYI

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsYou know, there is something to be said for basic Mexican food and a restaurant where you can sit down and have chips and salsa from a bowl at your own table. I have no problem with the burrito bars, etc. around the city but sometimes you just want to sit and order from a menu. I made the serious mistake of going to Chevys when I first moved here in my search and couldn't even gag that junk down. This place I really like... simple and good.

YU MAY AS WELL BE AT CHEVYS, this is one step down...at least chevys doesnt claim try2 be autentico..this place is really for the "mission crowd" of white ppl, who want mex-food w.o the threat of actual being surrounded by mex-customers; mariaches ok, but not the borracho shouting out requests?
