Con: The "shrimp" appetizer we ordered contained tentacles, not shrimp. The peanut sauce was weak and runny. The Pad Thai didn't have a chicken option, and the Pad Phuket we ordered instead (chicken and shrimp) was just mediocre.
Overall, it's tolerable food at an ok price, but I'll probably avoid ordering from them again. I'd rather find something *good.*
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsUntil I had Thai food from Phuket, I'd given up on finding tasty Thai food in San Francisco. I've had some of the best Asian food in New York, so why should San Francisco suffer? We're closer! There's something about the globby sauces that make their way onto our plates, with greasy noodles, and uninteresting rice. Phuket Thai manages to overcome all these obstacles AND delivers! I'll never worry about a night in with nothing to cook again.
