We are so fortunate to have Valdivia Day care. Lucille and her family are so wonderful and the day care has the perfect environment for a child to grow. Our daughter Ella has been there since she was 5 months old and we see how kind and respectful she is with other kids that we owe it to Lucille's day care. We were very fortunate to have found her.

I can say with confidence that there is no way my husband and I would have been able to go to work every day and focus on our own jobs for the past two and a half years if we didn't absolutely know that Lucille was giving our daughter the best care and love she could possibly offer, every single day. There are so many ways daycare providers can choose to cut corners and get lazy. However, it was always abundantly clear to us that Lucille takes great pride in the services she provides and her standards are incredibly high, sometimes higher than ours! Her home is spotless and she takes great care in keeping things as clean and germ free as possible. The toys and books are lovingly and thoughtfully chosen, and rotated often. Meals and snacks are organic and healthy. Daily written logs on our child's disposition, what she ate, how she napped, pottied, etc., were so helpful to us, and gave us a clear idea of what was happening while we were away. Lucille has a great deal of knowledge and expertise, and it was great to have her as a resource regarding parenting issues. I am forever grateful to Lucille and her amazing family and we will miss them terribly when our daughter moves on to preschool!

Lucille and the Valdivia Family Day Care are true standouts among family care in San Francisco. When looking for care for my then 4-month-old son, I looked high and low for a place I'd feel comfortable leaving him. And once I found Valdvia's, I never looked back. Lucille treats the children like her own, providing a safe, warm, structured and loving environment. She feeds healthy foods and gives each child the attention he or she deserves. She gives parents a detailed report of each child's day including in writing the amount eaten and time slept. I feel extremely lucky to have found her and would recommend this daycare to everybody. If you want someone to treat your baby as good (and I have to admit sometimes even better!) as you do, then call up Lucille!
