I was very disappointed with this restaurant.
We ate dinner here on a saturday night, and the place was full of people. There isn't really a place to stand while you wait for a table due to the small confines of the restaurant. Overall it has about 12-15 tables that are packed closely together.
We were seated and then had to wait quite a while before a waiter came up to us with menu's and glasses of water. Now, I'm not sure if we caught their waiters on a bad day, but the service was absolutely terrible. Not only were we given someone else's starters and entree, but they gave our food to another table as well!
The food itself was very plain and average. We ordered the refried bean dip which has little salsa added to it. For our main courses, we choose the chicken skewers and the pulled pork dishes. Some of the chicken was under cooked and the pork was only so-so.
It may be that our experience is not the norm, but I for one will not be going back.
Take it or leave it: I've been to this restaurant twice and both times had extremely different experiences. First time fabulous flavorful Cuban style food and a soft quiet atmosphere, second time obnoxiously loud patrons and bland food...so I have to say hit or miss with this one. Great Sangria though.
Great Food and Great Atmosphere: One of the better cuban restaurants I have been to....Try the excellent mojito drinks (a bit pricey) and sauted mushrooms and onions in a wonderful wine sauce starter. The wait staff while very helpful were a bit slow with the food.
