| About: | The sunny outdoor patio and funky Mediterranean decor are enough to let the visitor enjoy a meal at Savor. Couple this with the fact that the food is outstanding, and this becomes one of the best creperies in the city. Enjoy the tantalizing smells that float out from the kitchen. Outdoors, a blue awning covers the patio. Hearty dinner and sweet dessert crepes are the house specialty. One favorite is the Barcelona-fontina cheese, glazed onions, and spinach. In addition, the restaurant serves a variety of flavorful sandwiches and salads and the service is great. |

this place is my first choice for breakfast! i come here almost every sunday.
The food was fair but the service is the worst I have experienced in my 40 plus years in this city. I went there once, my first and last time, a couple of years ago, for brunch with my then three year old grandson. My server forgot my order, which was delivered cold as it was sitting for half an hour at the counter. I tried to get my server's attention as well as that of other servers, to no avail. There was no apology and I had to pay full price for the order.
mimosas!!!: I went to Noe Valley in search of mimosas, fruit and bread for my birthday brunch on a Wednesday. I walked right past Savor, but my friend stopped to look at the menu and what a present it turned out to be. The portions are huge and filled me up the whole day, the mimosa was the bomb and the fruit was super sweet (papaya, pineapple, grapes, strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe). I had the mazatlan crepe and it could've used some more spices (but that could just be the mexican in me). It was a great birthday brunch and I can't wait to do it again. I can only imagine how packed it is on weekend (and how frustrating that could be), but it was a beautiful day and a great way to spend my 24th birthday on a Wednesday!!

when u said a couple of years ago, does not mean it sucks now, maybe things have changed since your grandson was 3 years old........give them another chance, alot of things happen behind the customers view in a restaurant that people will totally understand if they knew......trust me i know i worked in restaurants while i was in law school.
