About:More than a place to come and enjoy a drink, this is a place that became legendary for the crowds who flocked here simply to watch the late owner/bartender Bruno be his entertainingly grumpy self for almost 50 years. His favorite pastime was kicking out unwitting customers one after the other, because either he did not like their looks or they made the mistake of sitting at a table instead of at the bar. Enter through the iron doors into the dim, windowless yet plush Persian-inspired chamber, sit at the bar, and honor Bruno's memory by ordering a Finlandia martini served in a vintage glass dating back to the bar's opening in 1941. Only cash is accepted.

    Fun bar, lots of personality: I like the vibe at Aub Zam Zam. It's got a cutesy Persian theme and an interesting crowd. It's a little on the small side and nearly always too packed, but it's a fun spot to grab a drink or two.

    Best bar in town: I love everything about this place. Bartenders, Barflies, Atmosphere, Music.
