| About: | Even in a city full of great Japanese restaurants, this small spot stands out. Along with the regular sushi, chef Sachio Kojima also offers lip smacking Japanese tapas. Master chef's recommendations include stewed tripe topped with peppers, simmered stingray or Japanese egg custard. Don't miss out on the most innovative sushi made with foei gras and goose liver. For the vegetarian's scrumptious, grilled eggplant with Asian spices is one of the dishes that is available. Furthermore, choose from the wide selection of sake and Japanese beer to accompany your meal. |

One of the premier sushi places in SF: Great, elegant sushi. quarters are a little tight but the food is fantastic. Get there early to avoid standing outside in the line and braving the SF weather. All though you can get warm sake while you wait. Parking is a little tight but you usually can find a spot in the neighborhoods.
For the real stuff: Pleace to go to for real sushi. Can be busy and cost more than most sushi places but if you want the real thing, this is the place to go.
Our Neighborhood Sushi spot: Consistant quality - get there early or you'll be waiting out on the sidewalk. A short walk from the Upper Richmond district between 15th and 17th Ave can't remember which block but right in that area.
