Service is pretty horrible. There were 8 of us from my work and we were seated right on the left corner site from the stage. We had the same experience with the person who gave previous review. We were asked to move the chair. So, 8 of us crampped on the corcer and the seats were horribly uncomfortable. That was it. No extra ticket to the next show or anything. Will we go there again..? Eeehh.....
I went to this comedy club 2/7/09 to see Kevin Harte. I was so excited because it was my birthday weekend and i love Kevin Harte.I hae to say I have never been to this place and i will never go back. The service was horrible and the mangers ept coming to our table asking us to move our chairs. we had a big group and we asked for a better place to sit before anyone else showed up and was told since we ordered chicken wings we could not move. the service was worse and worse as the show went on. I guess they finally relized how they were treating us that they came and gave us free tickest to another show. Those tickets will never be used...
"My first trip to a comedy club here in SF was pretty cool. I took off one star for the 40 minute wait in the cold outside, and some disorganization with ticket buying before the show. The second I took off for the outrageous prices for food and drink, of which there is a two drink minimum. The seating was just ok. A small place really for so many people. The place was packed at 10pm on a Saturday. My date and I had to share our table with two strangers so we only really got half a table and the chairs were uncomfortable. It felt like there were three guys including me on the date. Next time, stick us with two hot girls and then it won't suck so much! The 3 stars I gave were for the comedians and ambiance. Low lighting and candles on the tables were a classy touch. The back drop for the comedians was of San Francisco and was artsy and colorful. I had Heffweisen Beer because you can't go wrong in terms of taste. I also ordered the nachos for about 7 or 8 bucks. This fine dish was chips and clumpy American cheese with some peppers and salsa thrown on top. The amount was a small plate full or a large plate half full, whatever. The night show was packed though and even though a heckler got thrown out of the last act of 4 (including the intro guy who was really funny too), I still had a great time and so did my date.
