I lived in San Francisco for fifteen years and left my heart and my first born there in 1998 because I had to move back to Texas. He was raised with a big heart and a great heart to please people instailed by his mother and me. Jose was trained at the " COrdon Bleau " in Paris and has devloped a special way to please people's appetite's. Please go see him on thursday when he cooks for the regular SF crowd.. His Dad Pepe

The King of Italian bars in North beach!: I am a 3rd generation North Beach Italian. My grandparents came from Lucca, Italy and they met inside Sts. Peter and Paul's church in Washinton Square. This is the truest Italian bar in the neighborhood! The best bartenders! It is like stand up comedy! The best crowd!

Gino & Carlo is THE North Beach spot!: This is a great place to kick off (or end) a night of carousing in North Beach! The bartenders are the greatest, the drinks are strong and cheap. Pool tables in the back and a first-class juke box.

And every other Thursday, G & C serves up the best meal deal in The City. The menu rotates, offering selections like osso buco, grilled salmon, rack of lamb, roast chicken...served up with salad and a fantastic pasta course. All served family-style. For under $16?!
