About:The retro luxuriousness of Bimbo's 365 Club's interior adds unexpected character to whatever act happens to be on stage for the night, whether it be a local surfabilly outfit or a major-label superstar on an international tour. Past headliners have included the Detroit Cobras, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, They Might Be Giants, Seu Jorge, Aimee Mann and the Flaming Lips. Weekly swing nights fill the floor with Charleston-ing zoot-suiters, accentuating the original plush crimson curtains of Bimbo's 1931 opening.

    Absolutely HORRIBLE Experience: It's unfortunate that such an SF landmark has gone completely downhill. The door staff are completely rude and unprofessional - apparently more accustomed to thugs than an upscale SF clientel. Bad attitudes and totally uninformed. It's awful when your first experience at a club is to be treated with total disrespect right at the front door. The drinks were just OK, but I later had to stick to bottled beer. Too bad... I used to love this place before it got to be so low class. I'll have to catch the good bands at other venues since I will NEVER go to Bimbo's again

    Great place to meet up and watch live music: This place is a terrific place to watch a live band. The place is set up with a great bar off to the side with the main area boasting a stage, dance floor flanked by a couple of bars and a rear seating area surrounding another bar. Both local and smaller, out of town acts visit the place frequently.

    I have never tried the food so I can't comment, but the ambiance is lends itself to a great bunch of low-key, casual, friendly patrons.
