About:Zucca captures the Gallic bent of this upscale eatery. The decor is bright and tasteful, if fairly nondescript, but the food is memorable. Find a host of hearty pasta dishes as well as rich minestrone and tasty antipasti. Along with the ravioli, the menu offers a classic French-Basque Piperade (slow-simmered tomatoes and peppers over a pot roast so tender that the beef melts in your mouth). Desserts are a blend, too, with Tiramisu and Creme Brulee taking equal honors in the taste department. The service for the locals who flock here is fast and friendly.

Very nice owner/chef, very good food: The owner is super-nice. Her food is great! (French and Italian)
Wish the place was more visible from the street.

haut cuisine: Our party of four arrived sans reservations, were seated immediately, treated like royalty, served like satraps in a clean spacious atmosphere brimming with old world ambiance.

The piece de resistance was the glorious cuisine, filet mignon that melted in your mouth, French country soups, flavorfu and hardy, fresh salads with herb seasoning and freshly prepared dressing one could not duplicate at home. Exquisite wine list, mixed drinks also available. If you're into desserts, let the maitre'd suprise you with something astonishing! All in all, we stumbled onto a treasure. Chef Annie is a star!
