Cobb's Comedy Club Business Overview

Edit Info

Company Information: Situated nicely on the courtyard of Fisherman's Wharf, Cobb's features nightly lineups of talented comedians. Both tourists and locals are found here, laughing themselves to tears. Wednesday's three-hour "All-Pro Showcase" has 14 comics, featuring well-known, occasionally famous, acts. Previous performers include Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Rob Schneider and Kathy Griffin. It can be expensive with a cover and a two-drink minimum, but can you really put a price on laughter?

This place is GREAT! Always a ton of fun and I'm not sure if I just luck out and pick the best shows but everyone I go to is fantastic. I don't know what this other reviewer is talking about, he/she must be insane... The food is not like going to the Ritz Carlton but it's adequate. The drinks are alway's up to parr and the service and staff have always been consistantly pleasant. The ambiance is comfortable, it's a comedy club period. I will go back many many more times to share in the laughter with my friends and loved ones. Thanks Cobbs!

I was surprised to see so many poor reviews. We have been going to Cobb's for years. The plus of moving to such a large space from the venue at the Cannery is that you have a better chance of getting tickets for acts like Dana Carvey and Dave Chapelle. You have to understand the two drink minimum rule. Someone reported that they were told they HAD to purchase alcoholic drinks and that is definitely NOT so. Bottled water is even on the menu. There is only a short time for the servers to serve you. We generally get there on the early side to get a good seat so we don't feel rushed about getting the two drinks in.
