It was disappointing that the sashimi from this restaurant tasted most definitely altered, in order to stay fresh longer perhaps. That's too bad, because I am a huge fan of sushi and sashimi and I could have been a regular.

GREAT SUSHI!!!!: This place totally rocks. We had awesome service. The fish was all fantastic and fresh and there were tons of specials. We had escolar, kanpachi, katsuo, scallop, ocean trout.. Great tamago, nice and sweet. Mango roll from their specials was delicious. Nice selection of cold sake as well. A sushi lovers style of restaurant.

Food is just OK: I went there with my girlfriend on a Friday evening. The place was full but we only waited about 5-10 minutes for a table. Service was a bit slow and our waitress forgot to bring the complimentary salad and miso soup before the sashimi dinner arrived. Also, my girlfriend ordered some rolls for her main course and didn't arrive until I had finished at least half my sashimi dinner. We ordered agedashi tofu whose texture was way too hard. However, the seaweed salad was fresh and tasty. I was a little disappointed with the sashimi as the maguro was flavorless, the hamachi and sake were ok, and I presume a flounder type fish was barely edible. The only good sushi was the toro which I highly recommend, but was $12 an order. Overall, the food seems to be hit or miss and I have definitely had much better sushi elsewhere. I probably will not return unless I am truly desperate.
