The pizza is very good however; the service can be curious, in terms of one bigoted delivery person. That being said, Irving Pizza, is one of the best in the city and definitely in the Sunset. Wish someone would take a complete course in "Management of the Delivery of Service."

Best Pizza in the Sunset?: The best pizza in the Sunset is either Irving Street Pizza (19th and Irving) or Milano Pizzeria (9th and Irving). Irving Street Pizza, with its lunch specials and such, offers tremendous value and convenience. They are typically the last spot open late at night along Irving street, so you get a decent after-hours surge there on Fridays and Saturdays. Also, they offer a fairly cheap pint of beer to accompany your slice.

Milano, on the other hand, is more of a connoiseur's destination with their wide variety of toppings and subtle ambience. They are right near the corner of 9th and Irving, on the N-Judah line. They have beer specials weekly if you order by the pitcher. They also feature the occasional hot-waitress-girl to make your evening there a little more enticing.

Either option is good if you find yourself immediately south of Golden Gate Park and craving a quick slice.

Local favorite :o): My Daughter Heather and I will go no where else!!! It is a family owned business, Yahya is a sweetheart and very friendly too. They always have a special and repeat customer card, which is really good for locals, students, and singles :o)
It is right near 19TH Avenue 1 block from Golden Gate Park. The #28 bus will drop you right there! I am a sunset kid and lived in San Francisco 22years, it is really Awesome to have a neighborhood business that is still there and still serving up GREAT PIZZA!!! (They have a good amount of choices besides pizza too!)
