Company Information: The sleek dining room done in Asian ultra-modern is a setting designed not to distract diners from the delicious fusion of East and West to be found here. The ingredients, from the shops in Chinatown, couldn't be fresher and the day's menu is often planned by the couple, Angela and Larry Tse, who run this place around what they find there. The braised catfish is always a treat. The place is usually packed with a mix of locals and tourists who get the royal treatment from the well-trained wait staff.

A very popular place, reservations definitely recommended unless you want an excuse to visit one of the bars nearby. The food is outstanding. I had the ahi tuna tartare as appetizer, it was a little spicy and just excellent. As main course I chose the pork chops and there was nothing to regret it was delicious. Now I am just looking for an excuse to go there again ;)
Me and the wifey have been going here for almost 10 years (since we first started dating). This is by far our favorite spot to eat in SF. The place is a bit small and cozy but the food is awesome. The food is Asian fusion but the Asian influence is subtle with the use of Asian inspired sauces or vegetables as the dishes are very traditionally prepared.
My favorite dish was the grilled rack of lamb which they stopped serving a few years back so I've been getting the seared ahi or a special (usually a fish dish) on their menu for the day. The wifey always gets the seared sea bass with garlic noodles. We always start off wid the salmon spring rolls which is fresh salmon rolled in a thin egg roll skin and deep fried quickly leaving the salmon still medium rare served with a spicy wasabi mustard sauce - yummmmm. If were not too stuff, we finish off with a creme brulee.
I absolutely love this place and try to come on any special occasion that comes up!!
Best "unknown" place in the City: I'm amazed at how many SF locals do not know about this restaurant. It has been around for a number of years (I've been going since 1996), and it is simply outstanding.
Perhaps "the" signature dish is the Chilean Sea Bass with a Ginger/Soy glaze. It is perhaps the best piece of fish you'll ever have. The accompanying garlicky noodles and green beans are also excellent. My wife also had the pork chop, which really was outstanding (I cannot remember the last time either of us has had a pork chop, but it was really worth it).
It's a pretty small restaurant, so reservations are a must.
