mocha cakes rock!: The Prolific Oven's cakes and pastries are consistently good, especially the mocha. It's a good place to sit and read for a spell, or drink coffee as you chat with friends. Service is usually quick and capable. Drawbacks are the cash-only policy (it's a hassle sometimes), a crowded atmosphere at times, the bathroom all the way in the back, and the lack of free wifi. (I also wish that it closed at 11pm, but that's a lot to ask.)
Unbelivably tasty cakes: I love their cake. The mocha is great, and a special favorite of mine is the chocolate orange almond with the orange cream cheese frosting. Yummy!
I buy all my birthday cakes at Prolific Oven: Prolific Oven is my first choice for birthday cakes, especially for extra special friends, since it is a little pricey. A large cake costs about $35, but it's worth it. They have a huge selection of cakes in different sizes and examples or pictures of each type. The chocolate orange and chocolate mocha are my favorites. Coffee and pastries are good too.
