Excellent customer service. I purcahased flowers from Michigan and had them delivered to my girlfriend in Palo Alto. Unfortunatley my girlfiend was not too happy with the arrangement that she recieved and took them back to the florist. I was very happy to find out that they delivered her a new and very beautiful arrangement that made her very happy. I would gladly use Stanford Florist again as i believe they treated us in a very professional manner.
Someone told about how the arrangements from this store are the best, and they it was true. BUT, the experience I had with the owner of the store was the worst service I have ever encountered in my whole life. I am not blowing this up, as a matter of fact there were other customers in the store while the owner was mean and disrespectful to me, and I am hoping that they would come up foward and help me out with this because there is no reason to treat anyone the way I was treated. I ordered an arrangement for my wife to be delivered to her job on Valentine's Day 2006, I was so shocked when my wife called me and said that she hayed her flowers.I didn't understand because I ordered really nice one, but they delivered some ugly raoses in a box. When I tried to fix the problem, the owner's answer was, take the box or nothing. She didn't even apologise for their mistake or anything, and she was even yelling at me. I tried to show her my confirmation email and everything, but she said it doesn't matter, take the box or nothing. I am still disturbed by this experience and I can't believe that it actually happened. I don't know whatelse to do about this, but I hope some would help this owner out because she has issues.
A dozen roses are triple digits during Valentine's Day. Plus $15 delivery. So you're looking at $120 minimum for an arrangement with filler in vase. How much were you charged for again? They should have just saved you and themselves some grief and forwarded the order to another shop, but they didn't. They tried to do you a favor. Roses never look good in a box. My advice: If you want something done right, and you have picky people in the mix of action, do it yourself... Go to the flower market at 3am in South City, see how nice and respectful the wholesalers are during freak peak action, then make a stop off at your special someone's work so they can get a casual luxury to brighten their day. Yeah. Stanford Floral Design, Barron Park Florist, or any local shop will try to duck and dodge the cheap skates... Cuz they are just bad for business.
