Similan Thai Cuisine

Excellent food with several choices on the menu of both traditional and the owner’s creations. The husband and wife owners as well as the waiters are always very helpful and friendly. My girlfriend, who was born & raised in Thailand, thinks that Similan is one of the best Thai restaurants in the East Bay.

This is the best place in the world. Okay as you can see I love the food. I love the asparagus and lobster sauce. Very delicious with their chicken fried rice. I lived in livermore for 24 years than moved to San Ramon, but nothing has their fresh of ingrediants and they cook fast. I love everything I have eaten there. I wish I discovered them sooner! I am taking my mom some friend rice tommorrow so she can taste how different this is from the rest of the Thai Restuarants out there. It is my favorite place to grap take out over any place in San Ramon because it is not good. My boyfriend also says it is so tasty. Try it and you won't be able to really eat at another Thai place again it is fun food.

I have been many times to the restaurant and have always been pleased. I invited a group of 10 friends and every person loved their dinner. The service was great as well. I like the small intimate size of the restaurant. No noise and easy to talk.
