    Great food. Reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. This is one of those very solid stand-bys in Palo Alto. The shawarma (sp?) is my favorite. Got to get it spicy y'all.

    Great place for a quick beef or lamb shwarma and falafael. The food has a nice kick and usually gets my scalp to sweat. It is a small place -- literally a hole in the wall - so it can get a little crowded. But if you want something on the go and have a strong desire for authentic mediteranean food this is the place to go.

    Okay, not great: I thought I'd add a contrasting opinion to the reviews here. I think the food is okay but not so great. The quality of meat is not wonderful (you have to spit out the little chunks of fat); the ingredients were fine but not super fresh (it tastes like they reuse their oil); and the spices were nothing particularly special. The prices aren't bad but not great either -- for $10 I thought the Shawarma plate was disappointing.
