this entertainer give me a lot of practice time and even a good time to meet a lot of people and other people who knows how to play pool like a pro. i know that most people need to spend a lot of time to be a pro but to me this is a best place to be, because there is always two tourment going on in one week. On Wednesday there is a 9-ball tourment and on thursday there is a 8-ball tourment. most people alike to come here after their jobs. children who are 13-years old and under had to have a parents present and parents can even join the tourment too. to me this place is totally awesome and no one can compare to this store to other store that had pool time.
I love the Great Entertainer! I learned to play pool on their tables when I was younger and to this day I still go back to play almost daily. The number of tables make it easy to find a table to relax at and not have to worry about space. And the people there are great, so it's always fun to see what's going on.
There are a number of other games to play as well, which I like because I sometimes like to mix it up. Whether it be in the arcade room, the ping pong table, the foosball, or even the air hockey table, friends and family can all find something to do. And that doesn't include the games that are on the tvs either.
The daily Happy hour speaks for itself. Plus, there are tournaments every week, two days a week, and a ladies night.
Although the room itself is big and airy, the tables are absolutely filthy. I wanted to practice a bit and after hitting literally 10 balls, I had to stop and turn in the rack of balls back in due to the disgusting sticky haze on my left palm. Huge pockets and poor lighting. The lights have very sharp edges so watch out for your cue lest you permanently mar it. This room does not cater to discriminating pool or billiards players.
If you don't mind getting dirty hands, shirts, and pants while banging some balls around with your pals, I guess its fine.
