No customer service !!: I called the location closest to my house to have a comforter cleaned and repaired. The woman who answered the phone told me to take the piece to their other location about an exit away on the freeway. Her reason: because of the repair work, the seamstress had to look at it first before accepting the job and she was only located at this other location. I took it there and they said that i didnt have to drop it there because they take care of picking up those pieces that need repair -- so at this point no big deal, it wasnt too much of a hassle. Because of the holiday i was told i would wait an extra week to get the comforter back. About 2 wks later they called to tell me it was ready for pick up. I kept forgetting to stop by there and about a month later my husband went by to pick up the comforter. He noticed that the repair work was not done even as he and the clerk noticed that it was specified on the initial order/receipt. They had a month to take care of this!!! They told us they would call us the next day to let us know how long it would take - no phone call. A week later we stopped by and expressed our disappointment with their service as we were 1st time customers and not even a discount on the job was offered to us. To top it off when i took the comforter home, I noticed a couple of spots that were not cleaned. Usually, if the cleaners are not able to clean a piece, they mark it or let you know that every effort was made to clean it before they may ruin the fabric. Needless to say, first impressions matter and they wont see us coming back and we will pass the word around. I am sure other cleaners in the area would be happy to take my business.

Lamothe Cleaners is great!: Every spot that I had in my cloths was removed and the service was excellent!
