If you want to experience your worst nightmare ever, go to Magnussen's Toyota Palo Alto. Very, very, very dishonest and manipulative staff. They will scream at you, slam and hang up the phone if you have inquiries regarding questionable fees or service. They will tell you they never met you or never have seen you to know what you are questioning or inquiring. Even the Manager will tell you, "I don't know you and I can't help you, I never met you." They will call you names and bill you excessively beyond what you need to pay. I was charged double the amount I have to pay. During sales, everybody is accommodating, kind, polite and the treatment you'll get is very good. However, after you buy from them, and get good deal then it will be a totally different story because the nightmare begins. They will manipulate things to get back the good deal given to you and try to get even more than that... Finally what seems to be a good deal becomes your worst nightmare! No more costumer service after sales and suddenly the staff becomes very impolite & rude no matter how calm or compose you talk to them. They will keep on transferring you to extensions with voice mail, answering machine, and you'll never get any response at all. Or if someone ever answer your call, suddenly all your queries becomes your own fault not theirs and nothing can be done on their part at all. Beware! Don't have anything to do with them if you want to get a good and honest deal. Stay away from them if you don't want to meet a bunch of crooks!

I really wish I had read the reviews before heading over to this dealer. My husband and I were very mad about this dealer. After all the nice talk about "how some dealers are not honest but we are" and we signed some paper, all of the sudden, they said, "By the way," and changed one of the major deals we had. We really don't like how we were manupulated and left the dealer, even though it was still the best deal we had. We believe in honesty, and we do not want to give any business to dishonest person. Sadly, though, it seems to me that honest car dealer is hard to come by.

I went to them to look for a car. The salesmen are like caricatures. Pretty slimy and cannot be trusted. I bought from Sunnyvale Toyota instead.
