This place is great! The staff is wonderful and it won't take all day to get a color and cut. Fred is the best!

Great Salon with moderate pricing for this area of alameda. You wont be disappointed with the service or the style you receive and i to john and he did a great job on my hair cut.

I am giving the MALE review for this page. I would like to say that I have been going to Tomos for several years. I have only Tony cut my hair. He does an outstandings job everytime. The service is great from the time you enter the door and are greeted with a smiling youg lady that always confirms your appointment, offers to hang up you jacket then has you take a seat and checks to see how fast they can get you started. Then I am led back to the hair washing station where I get a hair wash and conditioner. Scalp massage and occasionally a brief neck rub to relax me for my appt for Tony. Then I am led to tony's station where I have one of the most comfortable haircuts with pleasant conversation about his or mines recent travels or adventures.
I moved out of Alameda to Moraga and tried some of the high priced salons and barber shops here and have been extremley displeased with the level of service or quality of haircut you get for $45. Though there is a barber here that used to cut my hair 20+ years ago at the Navy base in Alameda. still not all the service you get at Tomos. Try TONY if you are unhappy. You notice that nobody here on this site has complained about him.
My ex-wife, Duaghter and I all use him. i know go all the way back to Alameda when I feel nostalgic and want to be pampered and get a great haircut.
