Very friendly staff: I take my son here all the time. The staff is very helpful and patient. They treat him with respect, which you often don't see in stores that deal with a lot of kids.
Thank You Game Crazy.: Saturday morning, I woke up around 6am to watch the world cup like I have for the last week. Before the U.S.A vs Italy game I decided I would play some soccer on my xbox 360. When I first logged on I was prompted to download an update from Xbox Live so I did, that didn't work out to well. After the update, my 360 started to freeze at different points. It would freeze at the start up, at the dash board, during game play, and while watching movies.
When I bought my 360, I also purchased the service contract from Game Crazy in Benicia. I figured If I was spending $500+ on new technology then spending another $40 to protect it wouldn't be that big of a deal. This was the first time I had ever purchased a service contract or extended warranty on anything. It was a good Idea. After calling XBOX customer service and having them tell me that what I already knew, (my xbox was broken) and having them tell me It would be aprox. $100 to repair it, I boxed It up and took it back to Game Crazy.
I walked in excpecting some kind of hassel, but got nothing but good customer service. They unpacked my 360, hooked it up to a TV, and saw that it was broke. I figured they would box it back up and tell me they were going to have to send it to xbox for repairs. No big deal, atleast I wouldn't have to pay the $100 to get it fixed, but I would be with out my baby for a couple of weeks. Once again I was wrong, they grabbed another unit from the back, filled out some paper work, and in 20 minutes I had a new 360. The only problem I had was I couldn't keep my original Hard Drive. Oh Well.
