Way to go El Cerrito Honda!!
Thank you Wayne and crew!!
We are long and loyal customers to El Cerrito Honda and wanted to again sing their praises...
We were having one car serviced and noticed that a head light was out on the other car. When I mentioned the headlight being out to Wayne (Rosemont), he said just bring it in and he will take care of it; he did not want us driving around with poor visability.
So we brought it in and he took care of it, in a timely fashion and with a smile. Little did I know they were extremely busy that day and working diligently to get home on time.
Later, I found out several service guys were out (it was the Saturday after the new year) and a few mechanics...they were incredably short handed. I was very impressed how quickly we were taken care of, especially when they could of easily told me to schedule another appointment.
El Cerrito Honda will always get our business as long as they keep this wonderful crew! I hope they are treated well enough to stay!

I'll never buy a car from them again. I went to purchase a car. Initially, everything was cool. the process was without a problem. I was told I was approved for financing and the car was mine, handshakes, smiles, and everything. I told them I would put 200 dollars down in 30 days. A week later, the salesperson called me back telling me that they maybe able to lower my payments, as I had requested, if possible. He said I needed to come back to the dealership. Once there, the salesperson was trying to show me another vehicle, one that I didn't even want. When I refused his offers, he told me that I hadn't been approved for the financing and that they needed the car back. As soon as he said this, they brought my trade in back to the front lot and told me to take my car back. Even though I had signed all of the paperwork, the car still wasn't mine and they backed out of the deal. They didn't give me my check back; however, they did say that they would destry it. Why then after 3 days it was written they tried to cash the check anyway. The check bounced and the bank issued me a NSF charge. After contacting the dealership, they said they would return the money to me. I am waiting on that. The night I left that dealership, I vowed never to go there again and to tell people of the horrible experience I had there. Needless to say, that night I went to Future Ford in Concord on my way home and bought an even better car. They gave me more for my trade that el cerrito was willing to, and the staff was extrodinary, and it is was a great experience. If you go there, see R. H. , he was my sales associate. Also, they are so shady and cheap at this honda delaership, that I put 25 dollars worth of gas in the car that I had "bought" from them to get back to the dealership that day just so they could take it away and they didn't even want to give me that money back. They only gave me 20 dollars of it. Don't be fooled. This place is not worth it. Nice on the outside, but on the inside, they are the type of establishment that gives auto sales people bad represnetation.

My husband and I did a lot of research on a new car to buy because we are starting a family. We contacted El Cerrito Honda thru the net, and Angela contacted us. After a couple of weeks of more research, we decided on a CRV and scheduled a test drive with her. From the minute we walked in the door, we were met by the receptionist, and another salesman who didn't jump on us for sale, but asked if we were meeting someone, so they could find them for us. From beginning to end, Angela and the entire El Cerrito team wanted to make sure we were comfortable. Usually buying a car is not a pleasan experience, but this one was the best I'd seen.

Angela and the finance team worked hard to find us the best finance plan possible, and were very understanding that my husband and I were bother first time buyers. No punches were pulled, no over the top sales pitches...just good old fashioned customer service. She even made sure we got the exact car we test drove, and made sure our app went through because apparently there were 3 other people in line behind us to buy the exact car we got.

We love El Cerrito Honda!!! Thanks a million!!!
