Diggers Diner

When I moved to Antioch I was thrilled to have found a family owned diner "lumpys diner" great food and good service. I work in concord and was even more thrilled to find another family members diner Diggers. Love the food! I will keep coming back.

Hey, My name is SSG George F. Brown I am a US Army SSG serving in Germany. I just returned from a 15 month deployment in Iraq. I am from the local area and every time I get R&R or leave to come home, I love to stop by Diggers. The Coffin Burger is the best burger I have ever had. It's huge, fresh, and off the chain. All you service Men and Women, ever in the area you got to get one of those Burger's! Thanks to the owners and workers there at the resturant, I always leave with a full belly and big smile. It's those things that make comming home for us so great! Thanks again and God Bless.

Not sure if Digger's is still owned by the original family or not. Food was okay, place was okay. I must admit though that I was pretty disgusted to learn that the name Digger's is in reference to the then owner's husband and his place of employ. The local cemetery. Ick.
