Moulton Barrett REX MD

I would venture to say that Dr. Rex Moulton-Barrett is the best cosmetic surgeon this side of the Bay! He and his staff are very courtesy, caring, friendly, and helpful, answering all questions and satisfying all concerns in an accurate and timely fashion.

Dr. Moulton-Barrett performed two surgical procedures at my request: an abdominoplasty and breast augmentation (enlargement) with an areola crescent lift. He was very professional in his explanation of the procedures…the before, during, and after. While I was not the most ideal candidate for an abdominoplasty (I was only 124 lbs when I had the procedure), he performed a “miracle” removing the extra skin/stretch marks that I had left after loosing almost 40 lbs and after having four children. I am extremely happy with the results. I was in tip/top physical condition prior to my surgery and can say that I was very fortunate to have a speedy recovery, returning to the gym after less than 2 months post op. Now while these results may not be typical, I can say that the care and information he and his staff provided were a major contributing factor to my ability to recover timely and successfully.

I am currently at 68 days post op and I am simply amazed at the healing process. The majority of my surgery scars have completely disappeared. The scar from the abdominoplasty is currently flat, much lighter than its post-op appearance, and is healing very well. My abdomen is amazingly flat and my abdominal muscles are tight and well defined. My augmentation scar has all but disappeared and the scar around my areolas is not even noticeable…as if it were never there! If I didn’t see it or experience it for myself, I would probably not have believed it. I am able to lift weights and continue my daily cardio workouts as I had done before the surgery. I am 100% satisfied with Dr. Moulton-Barrett’s work and would highly recommend him for anyone wishing to undergo cosmetic procedures. His medical knowledge, gentleness, care and concern for his patients is reflected in his work, the attitude of his staff, and in the atmosphere of his office. He is simply a wonderful surgeon!

Breast Reconstuction with Amazing Results!: After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I opted for a bi-lateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction and was referred to Dr. Rex Moulton-Barrett. I am very thankful for that referral. Dr. Moulton-Barrett is extremely up-to-date and informed of the new procedures available to women with breast cancer. He performed a procedure called a purse-string mastectomy with amazing results. (I want every woman to know about this procedure!) This purse-string mastectomy does not leave you with the linear scars across the breast (as regular mastectomy does). A circular incision is made around the areola, and then the incision is cinched closed leaving a small scar in the center of each breast. Subsequently, nipple reconstruction covers that scar leaving little evidence that a mastectomy ever occurred. It's a wonderful feeling to have your body restored to wholeness so quickly after this disfiguring surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Moulton-Barrett not only for his surgical skill and being up on the very latest techniques of breast reconstruction, but also for his kind, considerate approach and his outstanding, and caring staff.

Best plastic surgeon in California!!!: Recently I went under the surgery with Dr, Rex Moulton Barrett. I am very happy with the results. He is extremely knowledgeable, skillful, professional and caring at the same time. His staff is great. Certified nurses provide enhancement or alternative procedures to the surgeris (laser,botox,restylane...) and like this would be not enough you can get the facial and the relaxing massage in the same place. I have only good things to say.
My friends and I think that Dr. Rex Moulton-Barrett is the best plastic surgeon in California and we can proof it.:-)
