Poor service! Told to be at Service Dept at 7 am on a Saturday to have remote fixed. Service Dept not even open on Saturdays! Which I found out after waiting for 15 mins for someone to show up. When someone finally showed up they told me to go to Fremont, and why was I even at the Hayward lot? BECAUSE THAT IS WHERE I HAD CALLED!!! Was given wrong street for Fremont lot. Obviously that salesman didn't give a crap about customer service! Sad thing is I was going to looking forward to buying a car today! I was going to look at the cars while the remote was being taken care of. I will NEVER buy from these clowns.
DO NOT GO!!!
Me and my dad wanted to purchase an HHR and turns out, that after all the negotiatig and after an hour turns out the car has been sold!! The sales person was begging me to test drive the car. When supposebly it was already sold!! they thought they were going to rip us off.. WRONG!! BEWARE..
Poor service: We went in to Hayward Chevrolet with every intention to purchase a vehicle. I met with Jose, Sales Manager, and he was a great. He went with us as we test drove both the HHR and the Equinox. He was very friendly but when it came down to actual numbers he wasn't very knowledgeable. He made some statements that led us to believe we would be able to get any style, model and color within a matter of days.
He handed us off to Louis who was very confrontational. I did my research on several models, volume, engine, hp, etc and he told me I was wrong and I later did a sanity check and found I was correct. Then I asked for some prices for a base model with a couple add-ons and he gave me the highest end with several packages. I asked where is the pricing for the model I asked for and he told me they are all sold out across the entire bay. I felt like I was being coerced in to a package I did not want and the cheesy sell tactics about unavailability really turned me off.
We ended up driving up the street to the Toyota dealership and drove off the lot with a new car. Their loss. I do not recommend Hayward Chevrolet.

The comments posted above must have been from way long ago, for the names that were mentioned , no longer work at that location. I asked. I purchased a car over 2 years ago , with no hassles, nor delays. i got the options, color, & price I was looking for. I first visited fh Dailey. They were to busy to help me. Another near Union City try to sell me a suv. Very scary . Hayward dealer helped me & were very freindly. I recommend this facility to whom may be searching for a car. 1 month later I received a recall in the mail. I called them , and they made an appointment for me the very next day. It was done while i waited. thank you very much
Well, obviously they were posted a few years ago since the date(s) are stated in the upper right-hand corner in red lettering.
