   We have been coming to the Fremont Outback location since they opened. It was to place to go for "special occassions". However, the service for out Anniversay dinner on 01/15/08 was terrible. We were just finishing our soup and starting on the salad, when the food arrived. It should have been delayed another 15 minutes. The baked potato was cold & was replaced with another warm potato....not hot. The waiter was extremely slow in seeing that our drinks were replenished and following up on any needs we had for more bread, etc. A waiter can ruin a good meal and he certainly did. Claim Jumpers in also in our area and we will probably switch resturants as their service is far superior and the food is always hot. This is really sad.

   I love this place. My family & I have become regulars. The staff is always friendly, and the food is always prepared to order. We know the days the place is packed and when they're not as busy and plan accordingly. My clan consists of a die-hard meat eaters to one vegetarian, and everyone is full, happy & satiated when leaving. The Aussie Cheese Fries are the best!

   Surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. The wait crew is professional and obviously trained in their Aussie trivia. Their steaks are excellent. A bit on the noisy side and the wait is sometimes too long at the Fremont facility. I recommend call ahead seating or take out. The food is just as good
