Why Steve Hopkins Honda?: Let's go back to early October 2004. After searching for my perfect Honda Element over the Internet, I came up with something very close to what I wanted and for a price that seemed appropriate. Then I proceeded to go to the dealer recommended by the website, in another nearby town, and was told the car was not available, it would have to be procured and that may take a few days. Understandable.
But when I returned, the salesman gave the deal to the the manager, I guess they figured out I had too much money for my own good, and they decided to try to get some of it, against my better judgement.
The car in question was a black Honda Element, loaded, EX, automatic all time 4 wheel drive, A/C, 270 watt stereo with sub-woofer, and all the peripherals I could load up on the thing without slowing it down too much. I even got the cargo net for ninety bucks. Go figure.
While at the "other dealership which should remain nameless" the manager decided to push the sale right there and then, even though I told him I had a trade with us that needed to be dealt with, which by the way he would not even consider taking, and while I was making up my mind, he followed me around and told me things like "there are four other people interested on this particular car, you need to make up your mind now" and also "this is the last Element of this kind and this color for the whole of Northern California". And information is such a powerful weapon. I had researched availability myself over the Web, and there were at least four around our immediate area!
So, tired of having my intelligence insulted and being disrespected, went to visit the people at Steve Hopkins, where I was treated with respect and dignity, and procured the car exactly as I wanted it, with all the toys I wanted, for a reasonable price and and in a reasonable period of time.
As for the trader I had, it was a basic four speed Geo Metro 1993. My oldest daughter is still driving it up to today...
But I digress. Steve Hopkins Honda, no pressure, respect, and you get to keep your dignity, along with some bucks in your pocket. Pay them a visit, it'll feel like home.
Great Customer Service: In all my years of servicing my cars, I have never had better customer service in the service department, shuttles to and from my house made it very convenient. The servicing was fast.
This dealership went beyond regular customer service to aid me. It was Easter, I was running errands, and the alarm key broke. I could not start my car or shut off the alarm. Even though I bought my car from a different dealership, one of the sales people came, helped me disarm the alarm, and got my car going. I was amazed and grateful. I highly recommend this dealership.
