La Pinata

I do not go here for the service or the space, I go here because it is the best Mexican food I've ever had(besides home made). It's small inside, but the food is the best. I am disappointed if I go to la pinata in Alameda or San Leandro. This is the original restaurant and I drive all the way from fairfield sometimes if I'm craving it bad enough. Any mexican food I eat I compare it to here.Plus they are open really late and it's not expensive!

i do not like this place anymore the food is good but the service is very bad even manager is bad they need new people but the first thing they need is a new manager

I think this place isn't rated higher because of the extremely cramped inside of the restaurant. Plus, the service was pretty bad when we went. The food was ok, but not great. I guess it could have been an isolated event, but really, I don't see what all the fuss is about. We only tried the place because all the previous ratings were so high... but we were really disappointed. This place is average at best.
