User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI couldn't have picked a better place for my kids to go. My two son's have gone to Hansel & Gretel for quite some time. My oldest just graduated, and is MORE than ready for Kindergarten. As a matter of fact, after meeting with his Kindergarten teachers, he is advanced. His level is that of a child who is getting ready for 1st grade!! I can't thank Sonja and her staff enough for working with us.
Hansel & Gretel is a well rounded school with lots of learning and fun activities. It is a very intimate setting - not a huge center. I love the attention that is given to each child.
While Hansel & Gretel does not have a rigid environment at all, children do have certain expectations on how to behave and have "Super Manners". Every week the kids work on a new letter, number, shape and color. This REALLY has helped out in teaching my son how to read, and count. Every day also has a different theme.
Hansel & Gretel really has a family feel to it. The kids have always been showed a lot of love and nurturing. Sonja and her staff are always available to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. The kids always look forward to going to school. They LOVE it!!
This is the THE BEST Daycare/Preschool in the area!! It truly is "The Best of Both Worlds".
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI found Hansel and Gretel online and was vastly impressed with the amount of activities that were provided for children. I called and was advised of openings that were coming up. I enrolled my son and he not only learned preschool basics but came home speaking clearer Spanish and showing me symbols and letters in sign language. Sonja and her staff take good care of all the kids in their care and my son continue to improve on his manners and overall speech.
It also was nice that Sonja shared her knowledge on programs that were available for children from the county for example speech classes, etc.
My son recently graduated and the cremony was so cute and unique, all the children participated and it truly showed all the fun things the kids do daily.
My son will miss his teachers and classmates but is eager to move on his educational career.-

What an incredible place for children!!! Hansel and Gretel is a great place for all children; from infants to pre-k. My child has been there for over 3 years and has thrived. The school is very structured and the kids know what to expect from the time they enter the doors until the time they leave. They have library day, science time, share day, and special featured days (wacky wardrobe day, pajama day, etc). They learn sign language and Spanish. The teachers are wonderful!!! I cannot say enough great things about this school. I definitely recommend!!
