User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI'm not a regular customer, but I want to share a loving gesture. Four years ago I had major surgery and was not able to shower or bathe, except for having a daily "birdbath". Definitely couldn't wash my hair and after a week, it had become a matted mess. I was too embarrassed to go to a salon wth my greasy hair.
When Julianna heard about it through our mutual friend, she had me come in when it wasn't busy. She washed my hair thoroughly and conditioned it, getting the massive tangles and knots out. Furthermore, since it was about 100 degrees, she left it partly damp and then pinned it up into a neat little bun.
I felt refreshed, renewed, and much cooler! And it was so easy to leave it that way until I recovered enough to shower again.
She would not let me pay for having my unruly mop clean again! At such a difficult time, I felt cared for. So, Julianna, thank you again so much. You made me feel cared for. Love, G.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOh my goodness-I love Bonnie! She does a fabulous job on my hair. I work across the street from the Salon & I have VERY long hair. She was the first hair stylist I have ever gone to who did not try to talk me into/"convince" me to chop-off my hair. She listens to me & understands I like my hair long-no pressure. Now, as for color: I have never before received so many compliments! Everyone wants to know where I get my hair colored. I go to her every other month and use a Whole Foods color inbetween trims-she is fine with this & matches it perfectly! I brought her a picture the last time & she cut my bangs perfectly & gave me a great layering that enhanced my face too. She also gives back to the community by volunteering much of her spare time. The prices are wonderful at the salon and Bonnie is GREAT!
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI love this place. It is simple and maybe a little old fashion but it is very friendly. If you have short hair be sure to see Lilian who just seems to have 'the touch'. I've going to her for many years and she never lets me down. She definitely deserves 4 stars but I'm not sure about others in shop since I only chat with them-- not had my hair done.
