customer service was awful: I had been to this spa previously and had a decent experience the first time so I decided to take a couple of my best gal pals with me. One of my friends had her bathing suit taken outside of an empty shower stall as she tried to air dry her suit while she was at her treatment. Why anyone would take someone else's bathing suite is beyond me and from a place where you would expect a "safer" environment. I guess there is no such thing even in the wine country. When we told the front desk, we got nothing but "well maybe it will show up" and " are you sure you didnt misplace it". It was until another guest, who was caucasian, yah I said it, who we didnt know but was nice enough to vouch for us, told the front desk that my friend did indeed hang it out to dry and did not misplace it as the staff had accused her of, that a staff member offered to look in the laundry room. They should have done that in the first place. Yet the suite stayed missing. How was my friend compensated, they offered her the top of a bathing suit, no bottom, just top. I didnt realize you were allowed to swim bottomless in pools in napa but I guess in this health spa that's acceptable. Correct me if I'm wrong I just have 15 years of as a licensed health care provider, but swimming bottomless in a pool as they expected my friend, by only offering her a top, to do is a health hazard. Our day there ended with my friend telling the front desk she was disappointed with the service in which the front desk responded to another staff member that "she's upset because she lost her suit". NO, someone in the spa took it. They didnt even offer to take her name or number if the suit were found, my friend had to ask them to take it. This scenario ended the following day with the spa "finding" the bathing suit in an "unlocked locker". funny when we checked all the unlocked lockers the day the suit went missing we didnt find it. Whatever and then they proceeded to inform my friend that if she wanted her suit back she would either have to drive 40 minutes out of her way to get it or pay for the shipping, we are not done with this facility yet. This place either has no knowledge of customer service for their more "ethnic" customers or they have no knowledge of customer service period. I have been to many spas in the calistoga, st. helena, napa, rutherford and yountville area. So I know what the service should be and I expect that the service is as good as what i have paid a couple of hundred dollars for. Not in this place. If your a middle aged caucasian person, even if you don't have the money, I'm sure this spa is fine for you. But anyone else with any bit of money, education, professionalism, and different skin color should save their money for many of the other spas in the surrounding area.

can't wait til' I have that much money again: the price is not worth it. the gym is small and the pool is small. you have to share lanes with other people. $500 iniation fee, come on.

Refreshing to find such a place!!!: This place is a jewel...in a valley with sometimes too many options, this place is golden. Great front desk staff, very accomadating. Best facial I have had in a very long time. I highley recommend this place to anyone that lives in the valley, or plans on visiting in the near future. Make this place a must visit stop on your next trip...you won't be disappointed.
