My experiance there has been poor. At low tide, the water is less than a foot deep, hence the boats are stuck in the mud. There's recently a 80' sailboat named the Sorcerery, which is docked next to the enterance, cutting back a third of the channel, making manuvering in and out more difficult than it all ready is. i.e. the enterance can't be more than 25' wide in the first place. I lived aboard for awhile. An extra vehicle charge is $25, not bad, but they charged me $50 when I wanted to park my boat trailer out of the parking lot, out of the way. When I moved out of the storage unit which they charge $65 a month for, they initially were going to charge me for a full extra month because I didn't leave a 30 day notice. No where on the contract did it say anything about leaving a notice for the storage unit. To be fair, when they put their own lock on it within the time I was still paying for it, I called her on it and they dropped the charge. I had purchased the required insurance when I moved in, and the mangement approved it. 6 months later they told me that my insurance was inadequate and that I'd have to purchase new insurance. The manager told me that a representative from my insurance company contacted her. I asked my insurance company about it, and they told me their records showed no such thing. When I asked the manager for a name of this mysterious person, I wasn't given an answer. They suddenly wanted a security deposit, 6 months after I'd initially moved in. They voided the inititial contract and told everyone they had until March 1st to sign the new one, which might as well be in Greek except for the fact that they can move your boat, without permission to where ever they see fit, and if any damages are incured on your boat, they are not held liable. For the cost of $235 per slip and an extra 200 for live aboard, I'd suggest going to a cheaper marina where you at least won't be stuck in the mud half the time.
