User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI must have been there on a bad afternoon. The service was great, very friendly. I thought the food was way overpriced and not that great. My rice was undercooked, the beans not too tasty. The price for a side order of beans was more than most places, and we got half as much as we do in other restaurants.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsbeen coming here for 20 years!!: I love La Fogata. I think it's been in the same family for as long as I've been coming here- 20+ years. My kids were raised on weekly visits, their Dad and I came here every friday when we were dating. Chicken Tacos are my favorite, Salsa is great, chips can be hit or miss, I prefer the homemade ones, but they sometimes get replaced with obvious package type chips. We keep coming, and love to see the same family faces here.... I remember when it was Arthur's and they sold cigarettes at the front counter!!! And I'm only 39! Great Mexican food, I think the best in all of the east bay.

but was the food good, after all that's why people go to a rest. it's not about what plastic they take..you're a tool.
