User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely delicious! The lasagna was the best I've ever had, and I know Italian food. Really welcoming, friendly atmosphere. My brother had the Salmon Fettucine and he wants to go back as soon as possible. A must for anyone who likes genuine Italian cooking.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsgood food and friendly service: our friend ebeth recommended this place for dinner when we met up with her and her son sam last night. she said it was a family-style restaurant but when we walked in, it seemed slightly more upscale than a family-style restaurant with crisp white linen, candles, and wine glasses on every table. what made it feel family-style was the attentive service we received once we walked in the door -- it was so welcoming. i ordered one of their specials, a dinner salad with pears, dried cranberries, shaved fennel, on a bed of spring greens with a light touch of vinaigrette. i asked if they could add a small, grilled chicken breast on top and they happily obliged. david ordered their salmon fettucini in a creamy tomato sauce and ebeth and sam both ordered the ravioli in pesto. everything tasted wonderful and fresh. the pesto was a creamy, crumbly perfection and the home-made pasta was outstanding. we all shared the lava torta chocolate cake which was a wonderful end to a great meal.

I'm there once a month: My friends and I like Salvatore. Good food, service and atmosphere.. Not far from Bing Crosy's Piano Lounge another great place in Walunt Creek!!
