Good food, generous portions at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is a bit lacking and parking is hard to come by, but the place is clean and well-kept. The sweet-potato fries and BBQ brisket sandwich are good options.
I just finished my first Can't Fail Cafe breakfast. I ordered 2 eggs, over medium, hashbrowns, biscuit and bacon. As it was a take back to the office breakfast, I didn't find out the eggs were fried hard until it was too late. The bacon was not crisp and the biscuit was dry. The price wasn't bad though. I doubt if I will give them a second chance.
Great comfort food and quirky employees but the hard rock music can get very loud and annoying. Outside seating is preferable but seems hit and miss. Sometimes they elect not to open it and then you are subjected to slamming music if they so choose.
Can't fail with the food though.

phffff! as I said below in response to your comment on my review, regarding your incredulity of the $12 cheeseburger: here 'tis in black and white: http://www.rudyscantfailcafe.com/dinner.shtml; there are actually three of these absurdities, and so sorry for such an obvious mistake, all three of these monstrosities are only $11.95, not the outrageous sum of $12 I had the apparent audacity to report originally. Regardless, Rudy's is still and will always be mutton dressed up as lamb, no matter how much your ultra-hip and/or soccer mom self may disagree...cheers mate!
Really get over yourself. It's an average priced restaurant, stop worrying about what's poseur or not especially on an internet forum, you lunatic. Vomit your so called "punk history" someplace else.
That's the spirit, mate! Your post made my day, that's what we need more of around here, as this place reeks of mediocrity and khakis. A bit of bracing vitriol is a welcome breath of fresh air and good for the soul. So satisfying to know I've gotten on one of your raw, tender nerves--must be sore from that fancy new tat, huh? and yes, I will spew my punk ethos wherever and whenever I find a golden opportunity, thanks for providing one, you're a gem! cheers mate, oi oi!
