    I experienced good service from their internet sales department at least.

    After doing research for 4 solid days, I knew exactly what options I wanted in my Pilot. Where to buy, the best price, etc. was given by Honda of Oakland.

    I sent out invitations to bid to maybe 14 other dealerships and their response was the most responsible, solid answer I received.

    Doing things the internet way saved me a lot of headaches too. I have no qualms recommending this company.

    Horrible is all I can say. I would not even give them a star if it were possible.
    I feel bad that I actually gave them my business.
    The sales manager told me one price verbally and when everything was said and done, I was ready to get out of there and into my new car. Well... the numbers were changed and I was too excited to bother looking before signing. (I guess I can't blame them for that, but you wouldn't think you would get lied to).
    The customer service of the sales person was horrible. He left me sitting there waiting for him for 15 minutes before taking care of me. I made an appointment to see him after talking over the phone. After taking the car for a test drive, he again left me to talk to another customer for about 15 minutes. Rude?
    In the end, I would not recommend these guys to anyone I know. Hell I wouldn't recommend them to anyone I hate!
    Then there is the service department. I tried to schedule an appointment to get the alarm installed (part of the car sale) and the service advisor insisted I come in earlier than I would have been able to. (I wanted to schedule for 10am.) He said "I only have one installer on Saturdays and more cars may come in by 10am so I can't guarentee you car will be done in one day.
    ??? Isn't that why people call to schedule appointments? What is the point of scheduling an appointment if the guy who shows up at 9:55am with no appointment gets to go ahead of me? So I schedule for 10am anyway and "hope" my car gets finished in one day. I show up on Saturday (note I have a 20 mile drive to get to them) and they tell me the "installer" called in sick. Thanks for the phone call guys.
    Unprofessional and rude all around.
    I worked at a dealership years ago and know how the business is. This place is hands down the worse place I have ever been to from the sales to the service. Only thing I can compliment is that the finance guy was nice.

    I have a horrible experience w/ this dealer, the Sales Manager B.W. was nothing but arrogant, he told me I was unrealistic by comparing Corolla with Civic, I was shopping for the price instead of the value of the car, that means the value of the car wasn't important to me. If that was the case, don't waste the time as Honda has been doing so well, no need to cut me a deal. What's more? He told me to pay all in cash by saying "write me a check for $17k" repeatly, so I don't have to concern the interest rate. Remember his voice was getting loud.
    The other manager defensed B.W., explained that he just wanted to make a point and move the customer. Hey, You don't move customers by insulting them, it was offensive to me.
    Everytime when we tried to walked away, they asked again how much do you want, but would belittle us after that.
    I certianly will not give them my business, and I will never go back there again. There are so many dealers in the bay, no reason to go there at all.
    ***Try them at your own risk*** They are dirty.

    You sound like a real mooch customer that just got told to leave for offering too low. Any idiot could clearly see what she offered at 17k OTD on a Brand New Honda Civic LX can’t be all there. That’s offering 15k before TAX & LIC. Freemont girl, let me know if you could get that deal. I would pay you a finder’s fee! I believe Car guys are just doing their jobs just like the doctors saving lives & firefighters getting cheered on. I have Mgmt experence and Managers have to manage and “Slap” to bring back order. *(mooch means Cheep)
