This is a bar that will always be a second home to locals and visiters. In a minute it's easy to strike up a conversation. Folks are friendly and just easy going.Comfortable gay envoronment. A limp wrist bartender will ensure a good nite.....not always busy so call ahead and get a heads up on happening nites.Just go!

Home away from it all: I have gone to this bar for several years. It has improved over the years. Different things for all walks of life different nights of the week. Great bartenders, with descent prices. A college presence can be felt some nights, other nights Diva Dan throughs a fabulous drag show.If you find yourself in the east bay this would be the place to go. Have fun. Play safe.

your basic, hole-in-the-wall bar...: ...on Telegraph Avenue. Meaning, you'll find an interesting mix of Cal students, locals too lazy to drive to San Francisco and shady homeless people asking you for spare change conveniently outside. More mixed than the clubs in SF but that goes without saying. If you go on Friday or Saturday nights, expect your typical gay bar fare (ie, Whitney Houston and Britney remixes)
