    Best IPA selection - great cooking: This pub offers non-chain food selections, which produces great dishes akin to home-cooking crossed with fancy pants city (SF) cooking. The beer selection is the best I've found in Oakland, micro's to beat all. On top of all this the wait staff and bartenders know how to work the floor. Great place for business travel, or a date; just don't expect ot find many single gal's at the bar!

    Needs Help: Unfortunately, I found a hair in my food. Guess it could happen to anyone anywhere but it happened to me,here. Too bad. The food was good up to that point. Great selection of beers/ales.

    A great local pub: Their list of local and foreign beers is pretty good, and it's a great place to go to get some good pub food a pint of ale and throw some darts. The ambiance is OK, but the times I've gone it's been a little quiet, and I'd like to see it a bit more lively. While a nice spot that's really local to me, it's not the quite the same as the Albatross or the Mallard, which I would rate a bit higher as pubs go. (On the other hand, it's probably a bit cleaner than the above, so in some ways it may be better.) :-)
