About:This hip little jazz club and brewpub has taken post-modernism to the extreme by adopting an original, if not heretical, approach to its decor. Inside you will find pews, fixtures, and other bits and pieces from a local Berkeley church. But sit back, relax, and enjoy one of its three dozen beers on tap, and nibble on gourmet sandwiches like roast chicken, and mozzarella and basil, as well as freshly baked pizzas (most items around $8). Local bands are featured on Thursday through Saturday nights, and the crowd, though mostly students, is rather mixed.

    This place was a dump. Everything was dirty, including my pint glass. We decided to eat while we were there. Cup of tomato soup was freshly out of a can and the salad was missing dressing, the chicken included was dry and old. The bill was over $50.00 buck. This place is crap.

    Fantastic thin crust pizza with unique toppings. Fun atmosphere with a surprisingly large courtyard and water fountain, or a cozy indoor restaurant/brewery that reminds me of an old European tavern. This place is one of Berkeley's best.

    Too crowded... took us a whole 45 minutes to get a table, but then again, they have one of the best selections in Berkeley. Highly recommend weeknights or non-game days to come here.
