About:	With the scalloped awning outside and the folksy newsletter from the owner in each menu, you are on a trip to rural America circa 1940 at this folksy coffee shop. Under the newsletter, the menu includes items such as short stacks of fluffy pancakes and a surprisingly succulent turkey dinner with all the trimmings. You will not go wrong with either of those or any of the other down-home choices, but whatever you decide on, save room for the main attraction. That would be the freshly baked pies that line one wall. They are filled with seasonal fruit, always fresh, never canned, as well as custardy banana cream and sinfully rich chocolate milk.
