My wife and I brought in her '07 accord in for a simple 1, 2, and B service. My wife signed the paper without looking at it. We get home and I look at the service tag. $400!!! Why so much, they decided to add a "throttle body service" with out our asking for $100 extra. I called 2 other dealers and a independent mechanic, they all said it was not in the least bit needed. The independent said the 1, 2, B service would cost $150 or less. Last time I am going to this rip off scamming company. Way to rob the common man!!!
My girlfriend wanted to buy a FIT, so she asked me to help her find one. We went here; they tried to sell her a used element! They would NOT let her test-drive the ONLY fit they had. Gave us the old "your a bullshit customer who's not gonna buy anything, so we'll treat you like crap" routine. Berkeley Honda sucks. she bought hers from Honda of Marin. They suck too though.
I agree, they are dishonest.: The salesperson was the only one with whom I have no problems with. He listened to my wants and needs for a good vehicle. Dealing with the other associates, especially the personnel dealing with DMV paper work was a complete nightmare. I was promied so much and was delivered nothing, it came down to simply me having to go down to the dealership every single time I needed something done, things they were clearly responsible for. It felt like, as soon as I left the lot I was no longer a potential cumstomer but rather a person sold a car to "next". The next person may not be treated this way and truely I hope not.
