I used to drive from walnut creek for a dog or two, or when I was in berkeley, however, I first went there in 1998, and couldn't get enough. THe staff is cool, but the price for one dog is steep in my opinion. 3.00 ? I rather buy a pack of the Saags hot links and grill them at home for cheaper. I suggest the hot link and the top garlic, and bratwurst. My friends and I don't eat there as much cause of the prices nowadays, but always a treat. Hot dogs shouldn't have to be this expensive.

Back when the prices were $2.50/dog it may have been a fun place to be, but now you're paying $3.00 for a small, poor quality supermarket hot dog. Sure, there's the nostalgic appeal, but as far as value goes, there are simply better ways to spend your money.
