This place is a total RIP OFF. Do NOT go here for professionalism. They Pierced my lip and gave me a bar that was way to little. The bar is supposed be longer to allow for swelling. Not only did my lip swell up(this is fine) but, the piercing went all the way through my lip. They had the nerve to charge me for replacing it with the correct size and don't forget the fee they charge you for using gloves wtf? I have over 8 piercings and 2 tattoos and i have never been charged a glove fee! WOW. GO TO ZEBRA right up the street to avoid the craziness! I promise it's worth it!
i have had many tattoo's done at Industrial Strength. All of my work with the exception of 2 have been done there. i have been charged a grip and while the work was good, it wasn't great! i know for a fact that some of the artist work under the influence, while i sometimes use things- i would never use while doing a tattoo. i also had one pretty bad tattoo done and i cant do anything about it because the dude doesn't work there anymore. i have a tattoo that cost me 90 bucks,I got another one that's the around the same size and has equal detail work and was charged 3x the price at Industrial. While the people are super nice, and have talent, i think their judgement is sometimes lacking, and pricing is on how much money you look like you have, either that or the artist is charging more because they don't really want to do the tattoo's. The place is very clean and they do have a wide variety of jewelry, not cheap though. i would recommend this shop if a.) you have a decent amount of $$$ b.) no what you want, because they don't take a great deal of time working on the sketches c.) if you want real art, not thug rat tattoo's. overall the artist are kind, talented, expensive, sometimes stoned and don't have you really look at the line up and placement of your tattoo before they do it, to insure true satisfaction. so make sure you really check out the placement and angles, because they don't put you in front of the mirror to make sure you like were they've placed it. i regret not staring in the mirror to see the angles ahead of time. i don't not like my tattoo's but i'm only 50/50 on them and you want to be 110%+ people are nervous and kinda not thinking with a full brain when anxious and waiting to get tattooed, so it would be cool if they took more time in the set up, and did the sketches with your input and didn't make a client feel bad for what they had in mind, or for not liking the sketch they've come up with.... they are not inexpensive! $$$ out of $$$$$
AWESOME first tattoo! I was so nervous, not just about the pain, but what the tattoo would actually turn out like. I felt instantly relaxed the moment I walked in the door at Industrial. I had been into other tattoo places down the street from Industrial, but was scared off, or told there was no way I could get a tattoo that same day I came in. Discouraged, I walked into Industrial, and was amazed! The place is SO CLEAN, the people SO FRIENDLY, I am so happy I made the decision to check out Industrial. I went in, picked out my tattoo, and a couple hours later, walked out with a beautiful piece of art on my arm! Thank you, Mike! He was so terrific, and totally put me at ease. No stress, no hassle, just quality work at a very reasonable price. I left feeling so great, I can't wait to go back for another tattoo! I HIGHLY recommend Industrial to anyone even thinking about getting a tattoo~ it really wasn't that painful!
